Sudha-Sindhu Award

This sanstha promotes young artists by bestowing them with the “Sudha-Sindhu Award”.

Smt. Padma Deshpande’s elder sister, Smt. Sunanda Ranade gave donation to Sur-Sangat Sanstha and requested to give the “Sudha-Sindhu” award to upcoming artist in the name of her mother, vocalist Late Sudha Gopal Ranade, every year.

Mrs. Aarti Thakur Kundalkar, was the first recipient of this award. And the legacy continues till date.

Nana Shende Award

Shri. Nana Shende, the cousin brother of Late Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande, gave donation to Sur-Sangat Sanstha.

Sanstha gives award to upcoming artist in his name every year.

Shri. Rambhau Joshi

The founder member & the Ex-President of Sur Sangat Sanstha Shri. Rambhau Joshi was felicitated by Sanstha on his 100th birthday on 13th Dec. 2022 at his residence.

Shri. Gangadhar Pimpalkhare

A veteran music teacher & exponent of “Indian Classical Music” of both Kirana & Gwaliar Charanas, Shri. Gangadhar Pimpalkhare was felicitated by - Sur Sangat Sanstha on Sunday 11th February 1996 on completion of his Eighty years active life. His disciples are eminent performing artists.

Shri. Vijay alias Daji Karandikar

A veteran music teacher exponent of “Indian Classical Music” of Kirana Charana, Shri. Vijay alias Daji Karandikar was felicitated by Sur Sangat Sanstha on Sunday 5th November 1995 on his completion of Eighty years of active life. His disciples are eminent performing artists
